Project 4 – Five (5) photos (50 points)

Five (5) photos of an egg creatively composed with light, color and subject placement, which enhances the shape and texture of your subject.

 

 

Objective:

Lighting your egg in different ways will give your subject a depth and dimension that would otherwise be flat and boring. Light direction and quality are important! This project is a challenge which requires a creative approach. Arrange your subjects to produce a series of imaginative, well composed and exposed images. Your textbook is a reference; use it if you are not clear on the process of producing the photos required. 

Photographer’s Workflow:

• Prepare DSLR for image capture (set ISO, Shutter Speed, Aperture, etc.)
• Arrange your subjects and the image composition, Capture image
• Review histogram
• Adjust settings if needed and shoot again
• Transfer images from card to computer
• Review images and organize into folders
• Adjust and Optimize photos in Adobe Camera RAW
• do final cropping and adjustments in Photoshop, and save final files for the assignment
  
• As usual, provide both your finalized .psd files and their matching RAW and .xmp sidecar files.
